Horses For Sale

We always welcome visitors to Laurel Leaf Hanoverians and invite inquiries about any of our horses. Our broodmares are Main Studbook Hanoverians by Diamont and Kalypso. They have produced winning offspring in dressage, hunter and jumper performance, eventing, hunter breeding, and USDF sport horse breeding. Please contact us anytime. A DVD of our youngsters is usually available or can quickly be produced.

Currently we offer for sale:

FOR KICKS (name pending), a Hanoverian chestnut filly by For Play out of MS Kleopatra R. "Kendall" is tall and correct with suspension and athleticism. She is eligible for the AHS Jumper Breeding Program as one of her dam's older offspring was selected, as was "Kendall's" sire For Play. Kleopatra R has produced two national in-hand champions and an Elite Mare. Price upon request.
LANDKAPTAIN, 2008 Hanoverian gelding by Landkönig out of Kleopatra R. "Kappy" is a blood bay with blaze and four white socks. He is tall now and will probably finish at 17+ hands. He has good bone, super conformation, and correct angles. As with all of our youngsters, he is on a correct diet to minimize the occurrence of OCD lesions or contracted tendons as he matures. "Kappy" was shown successfully at Upperville as a foal and his temperament is calm and sweet. His gaits are wonderful and he is a strong jumper prospect. Asking $15,000.
   
LLANGOLLYN, is a two-year-old dark bay filly by Landkönig out of D'Legacy of Po Dia R. Dam "Legacy" has produced winning show hunters and winning hunter breeding youngsters, including AHS Adult Amateur Champion "Babylon" (Reg. name A Klassic Teddy) and yearling Palomar LL, Keswick Horse Show 2009 Best Yearling. "Llyn" has a wonderful temperament and conformation and has been saddled and briefly backed. She is ready to start under saddle this fall and shows good skills now through the jumping chute. "Llyn" is currently 16 hands and will finish at around 16.2. She has been successfully shown in-hand at Warrenton, Upperville, and placed second in Future Event Horse class at Difficult Run Horse Trials 2008. Asking $20,000.
   
ARTEX, KWPN/NA, is a four-year-old bay gelding by Riverman out of an Idocus mare. "Artie" is 15.2 with super movement and striking color, suitable for a competitive dressage career with a small adult or young rider. He is going beautifully under saddle and over small fences and has very clean radiographs. "Artie" has a wonderful, sweet, and intelligent personality. SOLD!
FUERST APHRODITES R, sold and happy in her new career as a mom. She will go back into jumper training this fall.
   
FUERST APOLLO LL, sold and in training. He is a solid stallion prospect.
